Council met in regular session with all members present.

Minutes of the January 12, 2009 regular meeting were read and accepted.

Motion by Feasby to suspend the rules.  Seconded by Wobler.  Motion carried.

Motion by Miller to adopt RESOLUTION 2009-B; A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE AND DIRECT THE VILLAGE OF PAYNE, OHIO, TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH BENTON TOWNSHIP TO PROVIDE FIRE PROTECTION AND EMERGENCY AMBULANCE SERVICE FOR BENTON TOWNSHIP.  Seconded by Childs.  Motion carried.

Motion by Schoenauer to suspend the rules.  Seconded by Wobler.  Motion carried.

Motion by Wobler to adopt RESOLUTION 2009-C; A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE AND DIRECT THE VILLAGE OF PAYNE, OHIO, TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH HARRISON TOWNSHIP TO PROVIDE FIRE PROTECTION AND EMERGENCY AMBULANCE SERVICE FOR HARRISON TOWNSHIP.  Seconded by Feasby.  Motion carried.

Motion by Speice to suspend the rules.  Seconded by Miller.  Motion carried.

Motion by Childs to adopt RESOLUTION 2009-D; A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE AND DIRECT THE VILLAGE OF PAYNE, OHIO, TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH PAULDING TOWNSHIP TO PROVIDE EMERGENCY AMBULANCE SERVICE FOR PAULDING TOWNSHIP.  Seconded by Wobler.  Motion carried.

Zoning Inspector Sinn gave his monthly report to council.

Police Chief Miller reported on the Roxanne Labounty property condemnation proceedings with the Paulding Co. Health Department.

Motion by Miller to accept Robert Werfal II as a volunteer fireman.  Seconded by Childs.  Motion carried.

Council discussed the outstanding garbage collection bills of the Foxbury Apartments.

Discussion was held on purchasing 3 year warranty for the Police car camera from Kustom Signal.

Motion to pay the bills by Schoenauer.  Seconded by Miller.  Motion carried.

Motion to adjourn by Schoenauer.  Seconded by Speice.  Motion carried.
