Council met in regular session with all members present.
Minutes of the February 9, 2009 regular meeting were read and accepted.
Zoning Inspector Sinn gave his monthly report to council.
Brian Vest, representing the Payne Ball Association, presented a $391.00 proposal from Mark Holtsberry to repair the fence at the East ball field in the Village Park. Vest also reported an anonymous donator is willing to purchase bleachers for the West ball field. Motion by Feasby to pay one half of the Holtsberry proposal for the repair of the East ball field fence. Seconded by Wobler. Motion carried.
Motion by Speice to appoint Chris Wilcox as a volunteer fireman. Seconded by Childs. Motion carried.
Mayor Speice informed council that Solicitor Sponseller has written a letter to Al Griffith's attorney explaining the Village's position on the unpaid Foxbury Apartments garbage bills and their need to pay them.
Mayor Speice informed Council Mayor's Court from November, 2008 through February, 2009 totaled $1,035.00.
Motion by Schoenauer to pay the bills. Seconded by Wobler. Motion carried.
Motion by Schoenauer to go into Executive Session. Seconded by Feasby. Motion carried. Executive Session was entered into at 7:50 p.m. Executive Session ended at 8:17 p.m.
Motion by Schoenauer to adjourn. Seconded by Speice. Motion carried.
