Minutes of the November 24, 2008 regular meeting was read and accepted.
EMS Coordinator Bollenbacher reported 180 runs so far in 2008.
Fire Chief Krouse received approval to purchase replacement air lift bags for outdated bags for $2,800.
Mayor Speice reported Andy Head's property annexation into the village is on hold due to county zoning regulations.
Mayor Speice reported the Board of Elections certified the new Police Levy passed by 15 votes.
Discussion was held on the continuing roof leaking problems in the village administration building.
Mayor Speice informed council Comcast's basic cable rates will be increasing effective January 2009.
Council decided to join the Payne Chamber of Commerce for 2009 with the dues being $50.
Motion to pay the bills by Schoenauer. Seconded by Feasby. Motion carried.
Motion by Speice to appoint Benjamin Collins as a volunteer firefighter. Seconded by Childs. Motion carried.
Motion by Speice to enter into Executive Session to discuss personnel matters. Seconded by Wobler. Motion carried. Executive Session was entered into at 8:25 p.m. Executive Session ended at 8:28 p.m.
