1st Reading:

This Ordinance would permit Utility Vehicles (UTV’s) and Mini-Trucks within the village. The change requires 3 readings at three public meetings which take place at 7 pm at the Village Hall.
2nd reading will be Monday August 28th
3rd Reading will be Monday September 11th
 
These meetings are open to the public and anyone is welcome to attend. The Village of Payne’s Council and Mayor would like to invite anyone in favor or against the ordinance to come and share their opinions. To read the full ordinance, follow the link here:
The Village of Payne & Council had its first reading of Ordinance No. 2023-7
“AN ORDINANCE REGULATING UTILITY VEHICLES AND MINI-TRUCKS WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF PAYNE, OHIO, AND REQUIRING INSPECTIONS OF THE SAME BY THE PAYNE POLICE DEPARTMENT

A zoning permit may be picked up at the Village Hall  or printed out above. 

 

The Village of Payne Zoning Ordinance DOES NOT ALLOW  "Farm Animals" or "Poultry"  in the Village Limits. There will possibly be a variance issued for 4H animals, but the Zoning Inspector needs to be contacted prior
